10-12 Months Before:

Announce your engagement to family and friends. Maybe even post it in your local newspaper!

Get yourself The Complete Wedding Planner & Organizer.

Decide on the event date with your betrothed.

Choose a ceremony site.

6-9 Months Before:

Choose and ask friends or family to be part of your wedding party.

Send out Save The Date Cards to out-of-town guests.

Pick your gown and bridesmaid's dresses.

Hire vendors (florist, caterer, DJ/musicians, photographer, videographer, etc.)

Decide where you will honeymoon and book reservations.

4-5 Months Before:

Decide on your wedding invitations. Consider doing it yourself at a substantial savings!

Pick out wedding jewelry for yourself and your bridesmaids. Don't forget personalized cufflinks for the groomsmen!

Consider taking dance lessons for your debut dance with your new husband!

Choose your wedding cake and be sure to top it off in style with our cake toppers.

Complete your guest list.

2-4 Months Before:

Choose favors to give your guests that incorporate the style of your wedding.

Don't forget your wedding party! Discover personalized bridal party gifts your attendants will always treasure!

Order all your wedding accessories, including toasting flutes, cake servers, unity candles or sand ceremony kits, ring pillows, flower girl baskets and wedding umbrella.

Guests love signing your guest book but we have a different idea! Have them sign your guest book frame and you'll have it displayed in your home for years of memories!

Gather up all the guys and have them fitted for their tuxedos. (This can be a tough one!)

Choose and order your wedding bands.

Check with your local county about marriage license requirements.

4-8 Weeks Before:

Mail invitations.

Do a trial run with your tiara and veil. Make sure your stylist knows exactly what you want.

Get yourself and your soon-to-be hubby bride and groom tees and hats to wear the days counting down to your wedding.

2-4 Weeks Before:

Plan your seating arrangement. (Good luck with this one!)

Have your and your bridesmaids final dress fittings.

Just for giggles... check in with your photographer, videographer, florist, caterer, etc., to double (triple) check you're all on the same page. Specifically dates, time and anything special or extra you've requested.

1 Week Before:

Give your caterer the final head count.

Pack for your honeymoon.

After Your Wedding:

Send out your thank-you's in a timely matter. Don't wait a year!
